Berchet was one of Europe oldest, largest, and most successful toy manufacturers, from birth up to 8 years old children. Berchet SA was founded in France in 1945. In 1950, Fernand Berchet turned his proficiency and experience to the creation of toys. Using a new synthetic material far stronger than wood, Berchet created the first French-made plastic dolls dinner toy set.
